It is naturally our duty to ensure your data is secure in our system, according to the regulations of the German data protection Act (BDSG). We believe you should be able to rely on your data being handled in a responsible and confidential way. Our Privacy Policy also incorporates all the service providers who are given access to databases as part of services rendered on our behalf. It is not our aim to use or pass on personal data without permission and for purposes other than those stated at the time the data was collected.

Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH´s objective is to promote the economy by holding trade fairs and exhibitions in Germany and abroad; by holding events or conducting congresses and conferences; and by conducting all activities relating to the trade fair, exhibition, congress and conference business.

    Additionally to these services Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH provides the Online forum www.contact-contract.com, a free presentation interface aimed especially at Heimtextil visitors interested in interior architecture, planning, procurement for hotels, transport, companies and hospitals.

    An exclusive group of visitors will find details of companies registered as an exhibitor in the “contact-creations” section of Heimtextil 2009.

    Data is collected, processed and utilized in order to achieve the objectives stated above.

Public authorities, if statutory regulations of prime importance exist, external contractors (e.g., service providers) pursuant to Article 11 of the German Federal Data Protection Act, group companies, responsible foreign representatives, in a certain extent exhibitors and internal departments – all in order to achieve the objectives mentioned in section 4.
  11. Legal periods for blocking / deleting data
  12. German legislators have stipulated many different obligations and periods for retaining data. When these periods have expired, the data concerned is deleted as a matter of routine. If data is not affected by legislation, it is deleted as soon as the objectives mentioned in 4. have ceased to exist.
